Painting Memories
I don’t paint houses to document their architectural form. I paint them because of what happened inside them. When someone asks me to paint their home, it is rarely just about how it looks. Sometimes it marks a chapter that is closing. Sometimes it is a way of saying thank you. Most often, it is about remembering the place that shaped them and helped them become who they are today. It is a way of saying, this place mattered; a place that witnessed love and loss, ordinary days
